The
cause for the Beatification and Canonization of Fr. Matthew
Kadalikkattil was started on January 24 ,1989. The tomb
of Fr.Matthew was exhumed and the mortal remains were re-interred
in the new tomb of the Sacred Heart Provincial house chapel
by Bishop Mar Joseph Pallickaparampil on February 24,1990. The
Diocesan tribunal was closed on January 12, 1991.
